Retaining Wall Construction Continues as the Site Takes Shape

Work continues to move forward at Schumaker Construction’s Auburn, Massachusetts project, with the latest Auburn MA cell tower construction progress showing significant advancement across the retaining wall and structural portions of the site.

This week, crews continued working through the formwork, reinforcement and concrete phases required to build the substantial retaining wall system surrounding the site. The latest photos show just how much construction is involved in creating the stable, usable footprint needed for the telecommunications infrastructure that will eventually occupy the property.

Concrete Work Underway

One of the major milestones this week was continued concrete placement within the retaining wall formwork.

With the site positioned on challenging, sloped terrain, the retaining wall is a critical component of the overall development. The wall is being constructed in stages, with extensive reinforcing steel, formwork and concrete coming together to provide the structural support required for the finished site.

The progress also offers a closer look at the scale of the project. What began as raw, steep terrain is steadily being transformed into a defined telecommunications compound.
